Hot off the heels of Episode III's release, I offer up my Review of Revenge of the Sith in the Editorials section. And in case you're curious, "hot off the heels" is erikstormtrooper-speak for "11 months after".

Interesting Sites

The Nitpicker's Guide to Star Wars
At this site, run by Chefelf, you can read some hilarious nitpicks about the Star Wars movies, and even the Holiday Special. My favorite, though, is his "91 Reasons to Hate Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith". There were many times when I quite literally laughed out loud, and I had to force myself to stop reading to do unimportant things like eat and sleep. Check it out.

Starkiller's Guide to the Mono mix of Star Wars
As you probably know, the Star Wars trilogy we got on DVD in 2004 is not the Star Wars trilogy we got on VHS back in the nineties, which in turn was not the Star Wars trilogy that was originally released in theaters. Especially for A New Hope, there were a number of changes to the soundtrack, such as sound effects and different lines. To learn more, and to hear samples from the rare monaural or "mono" mix of Star Wars, check it out.

Revenge of the Clone

On Wednesday of last week, my wife gave birth to our second child, Alex James Schroeder. Everyone is doing very well. Of course, he is very cute.

Happy Early Valentine's Day

Over at Somethingawful.com they have a humorous gallery of photoshopped Star Wars Valentine's Day cards. Show a loved one how much you really care.

My font for Vader's chestbox has been updated once again. At Celebration 3, I came across a poster card with a pretty clear image of Vader from Return of the Jedi, so as a result I made some minor changes to my font as well as my editorial page. Check it out:
Sith Prophecy - An Analysis of the Text on Darth Vader's Chest Box

There are two new stickers in the Cards, Stickers, & Backgrounds section:
    On the Vehicle Stickers page:
       Episode III Anakin Starfighter Stickers
Episode III Obi Wan Starfighter Stickers

I've set up a page for Non Star Wars stickers as well:

Someone recently e-mailed me saying they wished I had a forum on erikstormtrooper.com. This is an idea I've been toying with for a little while, but I don't want to go through all the trouble if no one's going to use it. So if you'd like to see a forum here, please e-mail me and let me know.

Some Star Wars News:

If you've missed the inserts that used to be available at Gadders.com, they're apparently available again at swinserts.com. A site by the same name used to exist several years ago, run by Steve Niemczyk. But this newest incarnation of the site is run by Adam Gadders, who used to run the old Gadders.com before it disappeared. Confused? Good.

Patrick Torres from the MasEFX forums asked me to mention a contest they are having, which is really 8 contents in one. They have contests on best customs, dioramas, and displays. For more details, check out the Contest Thread. You don't need to become a regular member to enter and/or win.

If you're a fan of Star Wars deleted scenes like me, you'll want to check out T'Bone's Episode III Cut Scenes. I predict hours of your life will be pleasantly wasted.

A few weeks ago I was checking out thelightsaber.com's article on Episode III Saber Goofs. (As an aside, my ego has asked me to point out that the website makes extensive use of my Galactic Basic and Engli-Besh fonts.) Anyway, While reading the article, I saw this image. Holy Plastic Palpatine! That gave me nightmares for a week!
