Jason Weatherly
Boba Fett

Recipe and picture by Jason Weatherly

The body is from a deluxe Boba Fett. The middle of the arms were cut off, the upper arms and wrist gauntlets were dremelled out, and I used the arms from a Corps figure. I shaved down the forearms of a Qui-Gon figure and glued them to the Corps arms, then glued the wrist gauntlets over the Qui Gon forearms. I cut Fett's legs off at the knees and added the knees from a Corps figure, then glued the Fett's calves back on. Sculpey was used to blend all the pieces together.

I used the backpack from the 2 pack Fett; it actually fits better than the other two Fetts. I added the "Wookiee Braids" made from cross-stitch yarn, and the cape was made from the poncho from the Episode I accessories pack. I then gave the whole figure a wash with some thinned black paint to give Fett a more "weathered" look. This is by far my best custom. I now have a Boba Fett with 14 points of articulation!
